The hotel itself was a nice option. All the staff were kind, amiable. The location was incredible and magnificent, next to Lake Kawaguchiko and Fuji Panoramic Ropeway, the lake and the hop on/hop off tourist bus almost directly outside, and Fuji mountain.

Had a blast at this ryokan. Loved the shared lounge, indoor hot spring, and bar. Played table tennis and enjoyed the free WiFi. The Japanese cuisine at Dining & Bar Cooliya was divine. And the best part? Free parking! But who needs an elevator anyway? Ha! Oh, and the area's activities like skiing and the massage? Totally overrated.

I had a fantastic stay at this traditional Japanese hotel. The rooms were decorated in a typical Japanese style and had all the amenities I needed. The attention to detail was impressive, from the comfortable futon to the green tea provided. The location was also perfect, situated on the street inside where all the more expensive lakefront hotels are located. It was a great value for money, especially considering the beautiful views of Mt. Fuji.
No major complaints, everything was excellent.

During our stay at Wakamizusou, we were pleasantly surprised by the amazing service and delicious food. The owner went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, picking us up from the train station and even driving us back when we checked out. The kaiseki dinner was a highlight, with flavors that surpassed even more expensive ryokans. The Japanese-style beds were comfortable, and having our own AC and hot water heater was convenient. We also appreciated being able to store our luggage and use the bath even after checking out. this hotel provided great value and we would definitely recommend it to friends.

The traditional style of the hotel was an incredible experience, with rooms made of tatami and a clean and beautiful onsen. The location was perfect for walking around the city and enjoying activities such as the nearby ropeway. the staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating.
The lack of English-speaking staff made communication a bit difficult. Some guests even reported missing out on diner and breakfast due to the language barrier.

I recently had an amazing stay at a hidden gem in Kawaguchiko. This hotel offers great value for money, especially considering its location on the street inside where all the more expensive lakefront hotels are located. The prices for both the rooms and the meals were very reasonable, making it a budget-friendly option for travelers like me. The attention to detail was remarkable, with the staff going above and beyond to cater to our needs. The basic amenities provided in the rooms, such as the individual AC and hot water heater, added to the convenience of our stay. Moreover, the location was perfect for exploring the area, as it was near the lake and had easy access to public transportation.
All in all, my experience at this hotel was wonderful and I couldn't find any major flaws.
